Step into the enchanting world of Tea Garden 't Woutje, nestled along the scenic Burgemeester ten Heuvelhofweg in Hazerswoude-Dorp, Netherlands. This charming café is more than just a place to sip tea; it’s a delightful escape where nature and nostalgia intertwine in a magical atmosphere.

As you wander through 't Woutje, you’ll be greeted by an abundance of vintage knick-knacks, each adding a whimsical touch to the surroundings. The café offers both indoor seating, adorned with quirky decor, and a cozy outdoor area where you can soak in the sun or enjoy the tranquil view of the water. It's a perfect spot, whether you're looking for a relaxing afternoon or a fun outing with family. As one satisfied customer, Marchello Baláti, noted, it’s an inviting space that is particularly friendly for families with children, all while providing a touch of serenity.

The concept of self-service here adds to the down-to-earth feel of 't Woutje. After placing your order at the bar, the friendly staff will bring your choices to your table—just sit back and enjoy the ambiance. The menu is rich in aromatic teas, sure to delight the senses. Though not extensive, you can also find some light bites like the beloved toasti that, while slightly pricier than expected, offers a comforting taste that pairs beautifully with your drink. The café, as Rob Schaap experienced, allows you to choose your ideal spot—be it in the sunshine or near the playground—making each visit unique and tailored to your mood.

Your experience at the Tea Garden wouldn’t be complete without indulging in one of their delightful teas, perhaps alongside comforting treats like cake. While some visitors have mentioned that certain pastries might have a supermarket origin, the warm atmosphere more than compensates for such minor disappointments. As Willem Hüsken shared, the ambiance here is especially magical during rainy days, sparking inspiration even for your own garden projects.

However, guests have mentioned some aspects that could benefit from attention, such as improving the selection of finger food or enhancing the café's overall maintenance to ensure everything feels fresh and inviting. Nevertheless, this eclectic mix creates a vibe that some, like Kim, find charmingly chaotic—a true testament to the café’s character.

Whether you are a tea aficionado or just looking for a cozy nook to unwind, Tea Garden 't Woutje offers a unique experience that captivates the heart and soul of its visitors. For an afternoon filled with warmth, comfort, and a touch of whimsy, make your way to this delightful café.

I only drank tea so I can not leave a comment about food. This place was an amazing food on a rainy day. Quite a magical atmosphere, decorated with so many old nick nacks. I now armed with lots of ideas for .y own garden.

This little coffee is located next to the water, nice ambience, friendly coworkers. It's a nice place for families with children. The toasti was a bit more expensive than expected. A slightly larger selection of fingerfood and drinks would be an advantage.
